Info: Dr. Max Jones learned early in his career that his special interest was in caring for ill pets, especially those who are require critical care and extra attention. He practiced at an emergency and critical care hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina before becoming a member of the team at Animal Emergency and Pet Care Clinic of the High Country in Boone, NC in 2013. A life change brought him to us at RAH and we are so pleased to have him. In addition to critical care, he also has a special interest in neurology and cytology and has plans to pursue these interests further.
When he is not caring for pets, Dr. Jones is often found exploring the outdoors, usually the woods and streams of our mountains. Most days he is accompanied by his lovely fiance and at least one of their four dogs.
