Jessica Sims, DVM

  • Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Sims is a proud graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked here at Robinson Animal Hospital learning from her mentor, Dr. Robinson, for years before heading to vet school. She loves being able to make a difference in her patients’ and clients’ lives with her empathetic, thorough approach to each case.

Helping others through volunteer work has always been one of her greatest passions. Her volunteer projects over the years have included humane societies, 6 years at the Knoxville Zoo, fostering kittens and parrots, and, most recently, she volunteered her services spaying and neutering stray cats and dogs with Planned Pethood Mexico in underprivileged areas of the Yucatan. She hopes to continue finding new ways to give back.

At home, her two spoiled boxers, Titan and Vaughn, occupy much of her time along with her husband, Aaron, who may also be spoiled.
